Sydney's leading property group BresicWhitney has been named a finalist in the 2026 Australian Financial Review Best Places to Work awards. The national awards - assessed in partnership with organisational consultancy Bendelta - benchmark entrants across employee engagement, job satisfaction, and organisational commitment.

The awards were announced at a Gala Dinner in Sydney on Wednesday 1 April. BresicWhitney was recognised in the Property, Construction & Transport category among organisations with 101–500 employees.

Will Gosse, Director and Acting CEO, BresicWhitney, said:

"We're both humbled and proud to have been recognised in the AFR Best Places to Work Awards. Our people will always be at the heart of BresicWhitney. This achievement reflects our culture, our values, and our ambition to lead in all that we do. More than anything, it's a celebration of the sense of belonging we share at BW, and everyone who makes that possible."

A culture built on values, not just performance.

At the heart of BresicWhitney's organisational culture and decision-making are its values: togetherness, courage, humility, honesty, wise judgement, and excellence. These weren't adopted as a framework - they emerged as a description of how the business has always operated, long before anyone wrote them down.

"Great outcomes start with great people. Great people do great work when they're empowered, trusted, and supported. We know that to be true because it's underpinned how we've operated and the decisions we've made over the last 20+ years,” said Mr Gosse.

The group has long been a first mover in the industry, from pioneering price transparency and complimentary building, pest and strata reports, to its renowned creative approach to presenting homes.

Its architectural office spaces, developed in partnership with Those Architects and Chen Chow Little, reflect the same conviction - that the environment people work in shapes how they think, collaborate and show up for clients.

Today, the business welcomes over 200 people across diverse departments, under a unified and centrally operated structure. This continues to deliver advantage for its clients and people by way of supporting movement between Sydney's most desirable neighbourhoods.

"A workplace is always more than the space in which the work is delivered. However, we can't underestimate the relationship that architecture and design have on how we think, feel and interact with one another," said Mr Gosse.
