“I think for me now there’s a lot of pressure now for women to do it all and to do it all perfectly. But for me I think that also now brings freedom, that I can be a mum, which I absolutely love, but at the same time progress in my career.”

“International Women’s Day is important to celebrate for the next generation. I have a 13-year-old daughter and I look at her and the way she’s growing up and evolving, and this next generation is really empowered.”

“Being a woman is something to be really proud of. I think it’s exciting to be living in a time where we are being more appreciated. Because where would we be without women?”

“Being a woman today is about being powerful and independent. Personally I am very independent, so I think a woman doesn’t need anyone but herself.”

“My mum worked three jobs when I was growing up. It always felt like she was really present, so we didn’t want for anything. At that time it was quite taboo from when I was from to be a single parent, but she absolutely smashed it.”

“Coming together to celebrate and to empower one another and to really, really rise – I think that is absolutely so important for us, today and every other day.”
