International Women’s Day 2025

oak

From powerful perspectives on work, life, friendships, to motherhood and family, we sit down with seven BresicWhitney women, to explore what it means to be a woman today, trail blazers, and why it’s an important day to celebrate our present and future.

It’s a film brought to life by our women, for all women. Watch it here.

    Shabina, Sales Consultant.

“I think for me now there’s a lot of pressure now for women to do it all and to do it all perfectly. But for me I think that also now brings freedom, that I can be a mum, which I absolutely love, but at the same time progress in my career.”

“Female friendships are such an important part of my life. I’m so lucky to have grown up with these strong women that are still around me today. In my mid-twenties, we’re still supporting one another, going through different stages of our lives.”

“International Women’s Day is important to celebrate for the next generation. I have a 13-year-old daughter and I look at her and the way she’s growing up and evolving, and this next generation is really empowered.”

“There are women who inspire me all around in work and life. They are women who really know and accept who they are. They don’t need to prove anything. They own their direction.”

    Grace, Communications Specialist.
“Being a woman is something to be really proud of. I think it’s exciting to be living in a time where we are being more appreciated. Because where would we be without women?”

    Katherine, Sales Associate.
“Being a woman today is about being powerful and independent. Personally I am very independent, so I think a woman doesn’t need anyone but herself.”

    Louise, Sales Agent.
“My mum worked three jobs when I was growing up. It always felt like she was really present, so we didn’t want for anything. At that time it was quite taboo from when I was from to be a single parent, but she absolutely smashed it.”

    Alex, Area Manager.

“Coming together to celebrate and to empower one another and to really, really rise – I think that is absolutely so important for us, today and every other day.”
